Membership Application

Centaurs RFC operates as a conduit for past players and their friends to stay in touch and meet on a regular basis. There are two categories of membership:

1. Full Members

Full members of Centaurs RFC pay either £5 or £10 per month by standing order entitling them to 1 or 2 entries into the 100 Club Draw. There is a draw every month with prizes of £500 in December and May and £100 for all other months.

With the exception of our running costs which are minimal and a modest subsidy towards the cost of the Club lunches/breakfasts which take place 2 or 3 times a year, all  proceeds from the draw are donated to our chosen charity.

Full audited accounts for the year ending 31st August are produced each year and normally presented at the AGM to which all members are invited. The business of the AGM includes the election of a President, Chairman, Treasurer and Club Sommelier.  

2. Past Players

To qualify as a past player you simply need to have played rugby for Centaurs RFC or J. Lyons RFC.

Past Players are invited to all lunches, breakfasts and other organised functions and receive regular e-mails informing them of all planned activities.

We only send out blind copies and your e-mail address will never appear on any e-mail that is sent out. Please provide the following:

1.Your Name 

2.Your country of residence 

3. The Centaurs side(s) that you played for and approximately the years that you played 

4. The category of membership that you would like (full member/past player) – if full membership, we will ask for your bank details in due course 

5. The e-mail address to be used
